Iced Tea with Bourbon

Place the sugar, lemon zest, and 120 ml of water in a saucepan.

Step 1

Place the sugar, lemon zest, and 120 ml of water in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over low heat. Remove from the heat and let cool to room temperature. Strain. Add the lemon juice. Stir and refrigerate until serving.

Step 2

Also, brew strong black tea in advance and cool it.

Step 3

Combine chilled lemon syrup, bourbon and black tea in a shaker.

Step 4

Pour into glasses filled with ice and serve with a lemon wedge.
