Noodle & Beer Marks Mid-Autumn Festival with New Mooncakes, Cocktail Pairing, and Gift Sets

Noodle & Beer is celebrating this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival with a new collection of artisan mooncakes, pairing cocktails, and a limited-edition deluxe gift set, available across both its Chinatown and its Spitalfields restaurants.

The restaurant’s dine-in mooncakes come in Custard, Chocolate, and Matcha, which can be enjoyed alongside their matching drink options. Matcha Made in Heaven, served alongside the matcha mooncake, combines Don Q Reserva 7 Rum, coconut milk, matcha tea, and cacao, while Strawberry Velvet mixes up Don Q Reserva 7 Rum with cacao, strawberry, and coconut milk for the chocolate mooncake. Finally, the Full Moon Whisky Sour brings together Toki whisky, yuzu, lemon, and sugar to accompany the custard mooncake.

The 2026 Deluxe Mooncake Gift Set offers four handcrafted flavours, presented as a quartet designed for sharing or gifting during the festival. Priced at £75, the set includes Chunky Red Bean, Chestnut, Taiwan Pineapple, and Firewood Black Sesame mooncakes, along with a handcrafted Longquan Celadon Cup, a bamboo lantern stand, and an elegant greeting card for personalisation. There are limited quantities available, with pre-orders offering nationwide delivery or branch collection from now.

Noodle & Beer brings its Sichuan heritage to both Chinatown and Spitalfields, with a menu rooted in the bold, layered flavours of Chongqing and Sichuan cuisine. Highlights include the Sichuan Spiced Chicken Bites, famous Super King Braised Beef Ribs with Blanket Noodles, and Deluxe Seafood Fried Rice, alongside its signature Chongqing Xiaomian noodles packed with chilli, pepper, garlic, ginger, scallion, sesame, and Sichuan pickles. The restaurant’s approach combines the deep spice and intensity of its founder’s culinary heritage with a contemporary London setting, making it an ideal stop for a Mid-Autumn treat that puts its own spin on tradition.

The 2026 mooncakes and pairing cocktails will be available at Noodle & Beer Chinatown and Noodle & Beer Spitalfields until 25th September 2026. You can find out more, view the full menus, and reserve your place right here.
