Grilled Shrimp Skewers
These grilled shrimp skewers are simple to make and they're served with a delicious butter lime sauce.

- 1 pound Large Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Pinch Black Pepper
- ½ cup Butter (8 tablespoons)
- 1 Garlic Clove (grated use a microplane / hand grater; or finely mince the garlic)
- 2 tablespoon Lime Juice (2-3 limes, depending on how juicy they are)
- ½ teaspoon Kosher Salt
- Pinch Black Pepper
- 8 Bamboo skewers, (10 inch), soaked in water for a least 1 hour andGrill Spray
- Peel and clean the shrimp.
- Skewer the shrimp, going through both ends. Add about 4 shrimp to each skewer, depending on the size of the shrimp.
- Season the shrimp on both sides with the salt, garlic powder and black pepper.
- Add the butter to a small saucepan. Gently heat the butter over medium-low heat.
- When the butter is melted, add the grated garlic. Cook the butter and garlic for 1 minute, stirring frequently.
- Add the lime juice, ½ teaspoon of salt and black pepper. Stir the sauce until everything is combined. Continue to heat the sauce until warmed through.
- Taste the butter lime sauce and add salt and pepper if need. As a reference we added a pinch of salt to ours.
- Lower the heat to low and keep the sauce warm while you grill the shrimp.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat. Spray the grates lightly with grill spray to minimize sticking.
- Grill the shrimp skewers for 5-7 minutes, or until cooked through. Turn the shrimp about halfway through the cooking time. When shrimp is cooked through, it will be opaque and will turn a pink color.
