From Mendoza to the world: the Mendoza-based company that now makes wines in Tuscany
CrowdFarming.Wine, founded in 2018, already sells its labels in 10 countries across three continents. This year it added its own production in Tuscany, and its wines are now available in Argentina.
CrowdFarming.Wine (CFW), a Mendoza-based company dedicated to developing private label wine brands, has expanded its business model by launching its own production in Italy. The company began producing wines this year in Tuscany, which are already being imported and sold in Argentina.
The addition of Italy represents a new step in the process of the firm's international expansion, which in less than eight years went from operating exclusively in Mendoza to having a commercial presence in 10 countries on three continents.
Currently, the labels developed by CrowdFarming.Wine are sold in Argentina, the United States, Brazil, Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, Canada, France, Spain, and Germany. According to the company, its wines reach more than 100 premium points of sale, including Michelin-starred restaurants and five-star hotels.
“This proves that the model works in different terroirs around the world,” Francisco Evangelista noted.
From Mendoza to Tuscany
The company's model focuses on supporting the comprehensive development of private wine brands, from terroir selection and production to identity design, packaging, storytelling, export certifications, logistics and marketing.
This year, the company launched the "Tuscany Program," its first production venture outside of Argentina. The project is a partnership with and under the winemaking direction of Roberto Cipresso. The wines are produced in Val d'Orcia, Tuscany, within the Super Tuscans segment, primarily using Sangiovese grapes.
This new phase adds a second avenue to CrowdFarming.Wine's international activity: while its brands developed in Argentina are exported to different markets, the company also incorporates wines produced abroad for sale in the country.
“We are the team that provides comprehensive support so that an entrepreneur’s idea can become a real brand: with CFW, anyone can have their own wine from Mendoza. Eight years later, that same model crossed the Atlantic: today we produce wine in Tuscany and bring these wines to Argentina,” added Franco Evangelista, founder and CEO of the company.

An ecosystem of wine brands
Since its founding in 2018 in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, CrowdFarming.Wine has developed over 600 labels for more than 110 active clients. The company reports a cumulative production of over 470,000 bottles, distributed across 30 varietals.
Until this year, its portfolio was produced in nine terroirs across different regions of Argentina. With the addition of Val d'Orcia, the company now includes a tenth terroir, located in Italy. This expansion combines the development of signature wine brands with a production structure that currently spans two countries and a sales network reaching 10 international markets.
