Mellow Mushroom brews up Wicked Wizard cocktail
Mellow Mushroom is celebrating Halloween with the launch of the Wicked Wizard, the company announced in a news release. The Wicked Wizard is a limited-time cocktail available at participating locations from Sept. 29 through Nov. 2.

The seasonal drink combines Don Q Cristal Rum, fresh sour, lime juice, Mellow's Moondust syrup made with blue spirulina and dragon fruit syrup, cream of coconut, coconut milk and blueberry-flavored popping pearls. It is finished with a thick sugar rim.
"The Wicked Wizard is pure Halloween magic, with Mellow's signature purple color and popping pearls that give the cocktail a playful, bubbling-cauldron effect," Elizabeth Brasch, EVP of People & Brand at Mellow Mushroom, said in the release. "We wanted to create something visually unexpected and trend-forward, without losing sight of making a cocktail that tastes every bit as good as it looks."
