This Derry, NH Restaurant Was Voted the Best Cheesecake

Greek food might be my favorite type of food to eat. Oh, who am I kidding, I like all types of food, but Greek is definitely right up there. Amphora in Derry, New Hampshire has some of the best around.

According to lovefood.com, Amphora has the best cheesecake in the entire state of New Hampshire and I could not agree more. I don't even like cheesecake that much!

I can attest first hand to the deliciousness of this creation. Amphora's cheesecake isn't just cheesecake, it's BAKLAVA cheesecake. Yes, it IS as good as it sounds.

There is nothing more disappointing than seeing something you think will be delicious and it's not. I can tell you that is not the case with the baklava cheesecake at Amphora. It's not heavy either. Even if you've eating a big meal, you still have room for the baklava cheesecake. At least a couple bites. If you don't eat the whole thing, you have more restraint than I do because holy God, it's good.

Amphora's Food and Drink is as Good as the Desserts

Can I just talk about the other food and drink at Amphora for a second? This is, by the way, a first hand account of this place. I have been there many times. It used to be very small, but they expanded and now have a beutiful bar and room for Karaoke and Disney Trivia nights.

Anyway, the Greek food at Amphora is the best I've ever had. There used to be a place in Nashua, the Parthenon, that is closed now but it had great Greek food. Amphora is better than that place. Their pita alone is worth it! The salads, the spinich pie and do not leave the place without an espresso martini, unless you're an alcoholic or underage, then don't, but otherwise, go for it and you're welcome.

Amphora is located in a strip mall, a/k/a Hood Commons, 55 Crystal Ave in Derry, New Hampshire. Literally, one of my all time favorite places in New Hampshire.
