Blu Café, la nueva cafetería que combina gastronomía y pasión por la Fórmula 1

Inaugurado en noviembre de 2025, Blu Café es la nueva cafetería que está revolucionando el segundo distrito de París.

Opened in November 2025, Blu Café is the new coffee shop that's bringing a buzz to Paris's 2nd arrondissement. In a relaxed yet refined setting, on the second floor of the former Alpine automotive workshop, chef Vittorio Beltramelli brings his experience to bear on cosmopolitan cuisine. Trained from 1997 under Alain Ducasse in Monaco, Vittorio Beltramelli continued his rise alongside Gualtiero Marchesi, who entrusted him with the management of his Parisian restaurant, which quickly earned a Michelin star. After international experiences, he returned to Paris and took the helm of the kitchens at the Hôtel Castille and Il Cortile. Between 2010 and 2020, he directed Nolita, developing a contemporary Italian cuisine, while also serving as a consultant alongside Jean-Pierre Coffe on the television program Vivement Dimanche.

From Italian specialties to Japanese influences, the chef at Blu Café cultivates his gastronomic expertise with a meticulously crafted menu. "I did extensive research on raw materials to differentiate myself from the many other coffee shops out there," explains the chef. This careful search for premium products is reflected in dishes like burrata from Italy, Pata Negra ham from Spain, and a truffle croque-monsieur that elevates the coffee shop to a new level of sophistication. "Coffee shops usually focus on visually appealing drinks, but the food is optional," laments the chef. "We've chosen to make it our main focus." Designed to evolve with the seasons, the menu has already undergone some revisions. "More are coming for spring; we've targeted it based on what our guests enjoy."

An address where passions intersect

Although catering to a broad clientele, the establishment also tends to attract Formula 1 enthusiasts, as the coffee shop is located on the upper floor of an Alpine car dealership, run by chef Edouard Schumacher's longtime friend. "The idea stemmed from a project with my former partner Edouard, who developed dealerships. He has a certain expertise related to fine cars. Those who love fine cars generally also appreciate good food." The café remains open to food lovers from Tuesday to Sunday and even hosts private events after 8 p.m., offering a menu similar to the regular offerings, or finger food. On weekends, Blu Café serves brunch, featuring many classics: burrata and beefsteak tomatoes, egg muffins or eggs Benedict with extra bacon, or Greek yogurt and pancakes. With an average bill of around €30, this establishment focuses on exceptional drinks made with espressos, smooth matcha lattes, and Ruby Hot Chocolate. Finally, the coffee shop, which seats about forty, offers its entire menu for delivery. This is yet another way to rethink the coffee shop format.
