Czech Fried Cheese
- 4 flat slices of Edam cheese (about 1 cm thick)
- 4 thin slices of ham
- 1 hard-boiled egg
- 1 egg
- 30 g flour
- 30 g breadcrumbs
- 20 g of fat
- 5 g mustard
- 1 pickled cucumber
- parsley
- 30 g mayonnaise
- 40 ml of milk
- Carefully cut the cheese slices down the middle to create a "pocket." Insert the ham and 2 slices of boiled egg.
- Roll in flour with egg and breadcrumbs, fry in fat on both sides, not allowing the breading to burn.
- For the sauce: mix mayonnaise with warm milk and mustard, add finely chopped cucumber. Pour the sauce over the cheese and garnish with parsley.
