Students create app to promote the Barbacoa and Pulque route
Through an application they seek to promote the Barbacoa and Pulque Route in Cadereyta de Montes, Querétaro, which will facilitate access to information on producers, tourist events and services, with the aim of boosting the local economy.
What to find in the Barbecue and Pulque Route app
The app aims to strengthen the economy of local vendors who sell barbecue and pulque. The students involved are Kevin Avellaneda, Christian Ríos, Jesús Martínez, Osvaldo Pérez, Daniela Martínez, Juan José Martínez, Andrés Gutiérrez, and Christian Sánchez.
This tool will allow users to locate barbecue and pulque establishments, as well as access detailed information about the vendors, the history of their premises, and related tourist events.
The application will provide information about barbecue and pulque producers, including schedules, costs, and available services.
Also noteworthy is the innovation of the mobile ovens, which allow Cadereyta barbecue to be taken to different points in the Mexican Republic for private events.
The mobile application was delivered to the mayor of Cadereyta, Miguel Martínez Peñaloza, who described it as historic, because "it will continue to promote both the typical gastronomy of this area, as well as the tourist attractions, culture and traditions that Cadereyta de Montes has."
The app is currently being validated by Google, so it will soon be operational through the Google Play Store platform.
