Lindor Golden Caramel and Hazelnut: the new Lindt chocolate
Lindt launches Lindor Golden Caramel and Hazelnut, a new recipe with caramel and hazelnut in cornet and bar form from October.
Everything is ready for Lindt's new chocolate. The official launch is September 24th, when the Lindt Chocolate Shop on Via Dante will host the presentation of Lindor Golden Caramel and Hazelnut, the new recipe in the Lindor range designed to accompany the change of season. Those with a sweet tooth will be able to preview it during the event, before it arrives in stores in October in confectionery and bar formats.
The timing is no coincidence: with the arrival of lower temperatures, chocolate sales tend to rise, and autumn is traditionally the season when brands focus on new product lines.
The recipe and the formats
Lindor Golden Caramel & Hazelnut combines caramelized white chocolate and chopped hazelnuts with a quickly melting filling, a hallmark of the Lindor line. The combination emphasizes the contrast between the crunchy hazelnut and the soft texture of the filling.
The 200-gram cornet contains loose pralines and is designed to be shared or given as a gift; individual pralines will also be available in the Pick & Mix area of Lindt Chocolate Shops, where customers can create mixed packs by choosing from the flavors on sale.
The 100-gram bar is designed for on-the-go consumption. Both sizes will be available starting October in Lindt flagship stores, online, hypermarkets, supermarkets, and specialty retailers.
The opening in Milan
On September 24th, starting at 11:00 a.m., the Lindt Chocolate Shop at Via Dante 9 will host the presentation of the new flavor. A Lindt Master Chocolatier will lead tastings for the public. A hot beverage inspired by the new recipe will also be available at the Lindt Chocolate Bar at the same store.
A new sweetness
Giulia Muzzin Scevola, Marketing Director of Lindt Italy, commented on the launch: "With Lindor Golden Caramel and Hazelnut, we wanted to create a new blend of flavors, combining the sweetness of caramel and the crunchiness of chopped hazelnuts with the melt-in-your-mouth feel of Lindor, continuing Lindt's path of continuous innovation."
