Vegan chicken burgers from the barbecue with kimchi mayonnaise

Vegan chicken burgers from the barbecue with kimchi mayonnaise

These veggie/vegan chicken burgers from the barbecue are not only easy to make, quick to prepare, and completely plant-based; they are also real flavor bombs thanks to the kimchi mayonnaise.

Ready-made chicken burgers are ideal if you don't have time to spend a long time in the kitchen (or behind the barbecue), and plant-based chicken burgers are sure to impress. For a spicy kick, we're making a kimchi mayonnaise to go with them. Another plus: these vegan chicken burgers from the barbecue are ready in 10 minutes!

Vegetarian/vegan chicken burgers from the barbecue

  • Heat the barbecue and grill the chicken burgers over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes per side. As soon as the burgers are golden brown and look appetizing, remove them from the barbecue. Cut the hamburger buns open and grill them briefly on the open side on the barbecue as well (keep a close eye on them, as this can happen quickly).
  • Meanwhile, make the kimchi mayonnaise. Roughly chop the kimchi and put it in a tall measuring cup along with the mayonnaise. Blend with an immersion blender until well mixed.
  • Spread some of the kimchi mayonnaise on the hamburger buns. Place the lettuce slices and the vegan chicken burgers on top. Follow with the cucumber slices, the fried onions, and the chopped chives.
