Valdevimbre kicks off its grand harvest weekend amidst wine, wineries and tradition
Saturday's program includes an open house at the wineries, with pre-arranged visits, and the opportunity to visit the Wine Museum for free, open from 12:00 to 15:00 and again in the afternoon.
At 1:00 pm the official opening of the Wine Harvest Fair took place, with the booths of the wineries of the municipality and the stands of popular crafts, in addition to the entertainment of the Simba Sambou batucada.
The festivities continue throughout the afternoon. At 6:00 PM, one of its most characteristic moments will arrive with the grape-stomping exhibition and competition, while the cave-restaurants and establishments in the town offer their special harvest menus.
A weekend in which Valdevimbre once again looks towards that which best explains a good part of its history and its present.
