The Pagos del Rey Wine Museum celebrates the grape harvest with wine, music and family activities
The Pagos del Rey Wine Museum, located in Morales de Toro, will offer a wide range of activities for children and adults to celebrate the start of the grape harvest, from September 26th to October 11th.
One of the activities will be the Vineyard Walk, organized for Saturdays and Sundays, September 26 and 27, and October 3, 4, 10, and 11, starting at 11:00 AM. The activity will include a guided tour of the facilities to learn about the different types of vines, grape varieties, and their morphology. It will be followed by a wine tasting featuring Pagos del Rey wines and a traditional harvest lunch.
For younger children, on Saturdays, September 26th, and October 3rd and 10th, they can enjoy grape treading and must-making workshops, also at 11:00 AM. These workshops are for children between 6 and 12 years old, who will pick grapes directly from the vineyard and, standing in vats, press them with their own feet. Afterwards, they can taste and bottle the resulting must and finally design the labels for the bottles they will take home as souvenirs.
The Pagos del Rey Harvest Concert will take place on October 2nd at 9:00 PM, featuring the local band Haciendo el Indie. In addition to the music, attendees will also be able to sample some of Pagos del Rey wines and their popular frisés on the Museum's terrace.
Children's workshops will cost €10 per child, while vineyard walking tours will cost €15 per person and will be limited to groups of up to 25 participants. Tickets for the Pagos del Rey Harvest Concert will cost €6.
