Koji creates his own tableware inspired by the restaurant's universe

Koji creates his own tableware inspired by the restaurant's universe

Updated on: September 20, 2026

Exclusive dishes will become part of the restaurant's gastronomic experience and will soon be available for purchase.

At Koji, the gastronomic experience begins even before the first bite. The restaurant has just incorporated into its identity a collection of its own tableware, developed especially for the establishment and designed to playfully translate elements that are part of the brand's universe. The pieces are already being used to serve the dishes on the menu and, soon, will also be available for customers to take home.

The idea originated from a collaborative effort between Koji's chef, Alexandre Faeirstein, and the restaurant's communications team, who envisioned transforming the tableware into another element of the restaurant experience. To bring the idea to life, Alexandre invited artist Monica Tomin, from Estudio Cori, who created the illustrations. Instead of neutral pieces, the plates and other items in the collection feature visual references and playful elements that resonate with Koji's identity.

The pieces, which feature illustrations such as sushi pieces, mermaids, a DJ octopus, and a shrimp riding a scooter, represent a characteristic that is increasingly present in contemporary gastronomy: the concern with creating experiences that go beyond the plate. At Koji, the tableware becomes part of this care, contributing to the presentation of the dishes and helping to tell the story of the restaurant through its design.

Starting September 15th, the six-piece set will be available for purchase at Koji for R$195. While the set is not yet on sale, customers can already see the collection during their experience at the restaurant.
