Vinoteca di Sartoria is an Italian restaurant where great wine leads the way
If you’re mainly visiting to sample their wine, the small plates are a perfect option as they’re designed to pair perfectly with whatever is in their cellar.
Some of our highlights were the calamari, a silky carbonara topped with crispy chunks of guanciale, and the tender corn-fed chicken cacciatore. And the meal went from strength to strength as dessert arrived, the tiramisu with a generous hit of Marsala liqueur and double-baked chocolate cake being the standouts. But tying everything together into the perfect culinary experience that it was, was the wine.
Guided by the extremely knowledgeable waiting staff, everything we ate was paired with a truly sensational pour, giving each course a real sense of occasion.
