Lincoln Brunch Fest to Take Place Saturday, October 10

The Lakeview Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce, Special Service Area (SSA) 27 and Special Events Management invite locals and visitors alike to celebrate this year’s return of Lincoln Brunch Fest in Lakeview.

“By bringing residents and visitors together to discover new businesses, connect with neighbors and experience the area, events like this help strengthen the sense of community that makes our neighborhood so special.”

“Lincoln Brunch Fest is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the local businesses that make the Lincoln Avenue corridor such a vibrant part of the neighborhood,” said Robert Morvay, Community Development & SSA 27 Director, Lakeview Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce. “By bringing residents and visitors together to discover new businesses, connect with neighbors and experience the area, events like this help strengthen the sense of community that makes our neighborhood so special.”

The free, third annual festival will feature complimentary brunch bites, live entertainment and neighborhood activations along Lincoln Avenue. Participating restaurants include Bookclub, Cebu, Coffee Lab & Roasters, Gotham Bagels, Heritage Bikes and Coffee, Left Coast Food + Juice, Lusha Pizza, Pockets, Rica Arepa, S&G Restaurant and The Weekly Mac, with additional activations from Bottle & Bottega, Goblin Market, Illusions of Angels, Japanese Culture Center, Mystery Street Recording, Physio Partner, Pioneer Realty Group, Pups Pet Club, Social Dance Studio and Sugarwax Chicago.

Live entertainment will take place throughout the event at the Bookclub Stage at Lincoln Avenue and George Street, featuring performances by Beer the Band and Megadad, along with a showcase presented by the Japanese Culture Center.

Special programming will also include appearances from local authors and artists. At Goblin Market, Chicago-based author and illustrator Sarah Becan will sign copies of her “Let’s Make” series from 10 a.m. to noon and lead a brunch-inspired drawing tutorial, followed by Jessica Mlinaric from noon to 2 p.m., signing copies of her books including “Secret Chicago” and “Secret llinois.”

At Beermiscuous, Chicago beer writer and author Josh Noel will join owner Austen Harvey for a conversation about Chicago’s beer history, followed by a book signing through 2 p.m. Noel will sign copies of “Barrel-Aged Stout and Selling Out: Goose Island, Anheuser-Busch and How Craft Beer Became Big Business,” with Jeppson’s providing Malört swag for attendees.
