Coffee Party Route active in Barrio Italia with coffee and music
The event brings together 20 cafes and more than 50 DJs this Saturday for a free day of specialty coffee, gastronomy and electronic music.
Barrio Italia transforms this Saturday into a meeting point for lovers of specialty coffee, gastronomy, and electronic music with a new edition of Ruta Coffee Party. The event brings together 20 local coffee shops and more than 50 DJs for a daytime, family-friendly event with free admission.
From 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., locals and visitors can explore the participating cafes, discover new flavors, listen to different styles of music, and learn about projects linked to the coffee and electronic music scene.
More than 50 DJs provide the music for Barrio Italia
During the day, the participating cafes welcome more than 50 DJs, including students, graduates, emerging artists and members of the DjSchool community.
The event also marks a special celebration: DjSchool is celebrating its 20th anniversary as a space dedicated to the training and promotion of electronic music. Under the direction of Patricio Salinas, known as Dj Tressor, students, alumni, and friends of the school participate in the musical program.
Thus, each cafe becomes a stage to enjoy different sets while the public tours the neighborhood and discovers the gastronomic and commercial offerings of the area.
An experience to enjoy as a family
Ruta Coffee Party seeks to activate the shops and cafes of Barrio Italia through an open experience designed to be enjoyed during the day.
The initiative is organized by the Municipality of Providencia, Hub Providencia and DjSchool, together with Barrio Italia, and proposes a different way to get to know the area, combining gastronomy, coffee and music in different points of the neighborhood.
The public can consult a map with participating cafes, opening hours and activities to plan their route and choose the places they want to visit during the day.
The program includes options for different audiences and allows you to explore the neighborhood at your own pace, going into a cafe, discovering a new gastronomic project or simply enjoying the music.
