Broni celebrates grapes and wine, with a large turnout for the revamped Grape Festival

BRONI – This year's Broni Grape Festival was marked by participation and a celebration of local excellence, drawing a large crowd to the heart of the city.

Broni Mayor Antonio Riviezzi summed up the day, emphasizing the overwhelming response from the community and visitors. "This year's Grape Festival was a resounding success, with extraordinary participation," he stated.

The event's new approach focused specifically on showcasing typical products and rediscovering tradition, involving several local producers. The event was coordinated by the Oltrepò Pavese Wine and Flavors Route and also featured the Lombardy Regional Wine Shop, strengthening the event's food and wine focus.

"This was a revamped edition that served to further showcase our typical products, grapes and wine, further respecting the tradition of this important initiative," Riviezzi explained, highlighting the work done to create an event capable of telling the story of the region through its products.

The Grape Festival thus provided an opportunity for producers, associations, institutions, and citizens to meet, with the center of Broni filling up for the occasion. The presence of the Regional Wine Shop of Lombardy also strengthened the connection between the event and the broader system promoting Lombardy's excellent winemaking.

"This initiative, coordinated by the Oltrepò Pavese Wine and Flavors Route, was born from the involvement of several local producers and aims to showcase the excellence of our region thanks to the presence of the Lombardy Regional Wine Shop," the mayor added.

The atmosphere throughout the day was also very satisfying, with the city center packed and so many people participating in the events. "It was a unique experience to see the heart of our city so packed with people," Riviezzi emphasized.

At the end of the event, the mayor thanked everyone who contributed to its success, from the organizers to the producers, from the organizations involved to the volunteers. "A heartfelt thank you to everyone who, in various capacities, worked to make the festival a success, and especially thank you, Broni!"

The Grape Festival thus confirms its importance as a festival for Broni and the surrounding area, combining tradition, local produce, and food and wine promotion with a formula that looks to the future without sacrificing its roots.
