CINVE 2027 now has a date: the international competition will once again bring together great wines in Cáceres
The 23rd edition of the event will be held from March 11 to 14 and will once again bring together wines, extra virgin olive oils, vermouths, spirits, vinegars and ciders from different countries.
The CINVE International Competition is already preparing its next edition. CINVE 2027 will be held in Cáceres from March 11 to 14, marking its 23rd edition and once again bringing together various categories of high-quality agri-food products under one international banner.
The competition will once again feature wines, along with extra virgin olive oils, vermouths, spirits, vinegars, and ciders. The organizers envision this new edition as a meeting point for producers and professionals, with juries specializing in the different categories.
The event will thus maintain an international dimension, allowing participating wineries to showcase their wines alongside those from different regions and markets. For producers, the recognition gained in a competition of this kind can later become a valuable promotional and communication tool, both in Spain and in international markets.
Castilla-La Mancha, among the most awarded regions in 2026
The new edition comes after CINVE 2026, where wines from Castilla-La Mancha played a prominent role. The autonomous community was second only to Andalusia in the number of medals won, in a ranking that also included Castilla y León, the Canary Islands, Catalonia, Galicia, La Rioja, and the Valencian Community.
The result also had specific names behind it. Grupo Montes Norte, from Malagón (Ciudad Real), won four Gold medals for its Brut Nature, Esencia Montes Norte Merlot, Esencia Montes Norte Airén and Espíritu Libre wines.
Bodegas Carrascas, from El Bonillo (Albacete), also stood out in the 2026 edition with two Grand Golds and a Gold Medal, among them the highest recognitions for Y Solo Cuando el Río Calla 2022 and La Torpe Avutarda Descansa 2022.
The results reflect the presence of different wine profiles from Castilla-La Mancha in the competition and place the region among the Spanish communities with the highest number of awards.
A competition that broadens its scope beyond wine
Although wine continues to hold a central place at CINVE, the competition has progressively expanded its scope to include other products linked to gastronomic culture. The next edition will again include six categories: wines, extra virgin olive oils, vermouths, spirits, vinegars, and ciders.
The organization also highlights the role of the professionals responsible for evaluating the samples. The technical team is structured by category and brings together specialists in wine, olive oil, and spirits, while the judging panels include winemakers, sommeliers, sensory analysis specialists, educators, and other professionals related to the sector.
