The short and intense history of the event
Vino CE was founded in 2024 to bring together producers, distributors, and industry professionals to celebrate Italian winemaking excellence in the city of Caserta, the historic home of the Bourbons and a symbol of art, culture, and tradition. For the third consecutive year, the event welcomes the most prestigious wineries and leading winemakers who have made Italian wine a world-renowned and prestigious brand. This year, the event will once again take place in the historic Palazzo Paternò, an exclusive setting that unites history, culture, and Italian viticulture, offering a high-profile experience in a building that is a symbol of Italy's historical heritage. The event's philosophy is to consciously enhance and promote Italy's finest wine production, embodying the values of quality, territorial identity, and highly expressive dialogue. This year, Il Vino CE proposes a format designed for industry professionals and wine enthusiasts, offering an immersive experience in a two-day program featuring guided tastings, direct meetings with producers, and in-depth discussions on wine culture and local regions. Il Vino CE is transformed into a B2B Wine Tasting in the heart of Caserta, aimed specifically at Ho.Re.Ca. and large-scale retail trade operators. It is conceived as a strategic space for qualified networking, professional dialogue, and the development of new collaborations, with the aim of generating valuable connections and concrete market opportunities. Il Vino CE confirms its position as an exhibition event and, at the same time, a platform for relationships and growth for the Italian wine sector, capable of bringing together tradition and innovation and guiding the sector towards a shared, forward-looking vision, in an event that has become an essential event.

The experience of the three organizers is reflected in their representation agencies, which boast a long and consolidated tradition in the large-scale retail and Ho.Re.Ca. sectors. A professional path rooted in solid family foundations and enriched over time by constant attention to market evolution and the dynamics of the beverage sector, which has allowed them to establish themselves as points of reference in the world of quality wine and beverages. The sharing of the common vision of the minds of Il Vino CE has allowed a conscious orientation of the event's manifesto of values, oriented towards quality, growth of the sector, and the building of lasting relationships. All this has allowed them to establish themselves as qualified interlocutors and points of reference in the national wine scene, offering operators, customers, and consumers a high-profile opportunity to delve deeper into the culture of wine and Italian food and wine excellence, and contributing to the strengthening of businesses in the sector by ensuring greater awareness in product selection in an increasingly competitive and evolving market.
PALAZZO PATERNÒ A historic residence in the heart of Caserta Palazzo Paternò, an 18th-century residence located in the heart of Caserta, is the venue for the third edition of Il Vino CE. Built between 1765 and 1775 and designed by architect Gaetano Barba, the palace represents one of the most significant examples of noble architecture of the period, distinguished by its sumptuous frescoed halls, monumental staircase, and elegant internal courtyard adorned with a fountain. Its construction is owed to Marquis Lorenzo Maria Paternò, president of the Royal Chamber and later minister of the Supreme War Council, who wanted the residence for himself and his son Vincenzo Paternò, vice president of the Supreme Court of Justice. Throughout its long history, the palace has housed important city institutions, including the episcopal seat of the Convitto Vanvitelli, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Education Authority. In the second half of the twentieth century, Palazzo Paternò underwent a careful and meticulous restoration, culminating in the latest renovation by the current owners, the Paternò family, who preserved its historical and architectural value, restoring it to the city as a place of culture, entertainment, and prestigious events. Today, Palazzo Paternò remains an exclusive and captivating setting, ideal for hosting high-profile events such as Il Vino CE, where history, elegance, and tradition interact with the excellence of Italian wine.
