Designed to mirror the ‘world’s best bar,’ this secret 80-seat Midtown jazz spot just reopened with world-class musicians for a $40 weekend cover

As New Yorkers trade their summer weekend escapes for cozy fall routines, finding a warm, intimate spot for a night out becomes a top priority.

Baretto, a sultry jazz and bossa nova club tucked discreetly above the acclaimed Fasano, has reopened for the season.

If you are looking for low light, world-class musicians, and a truly elevated food and drink program, this hidden gem deserves a spot on your fall radar.

A sleek nod to the ‘world’s best bar’

The Manhattan location was heavily inspired by the iconic Baretto São Paulo, which Wallpaper magazine once named the “World’s #1 Bar.”

Designed by renowned Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld, the space is a masterclass in tasteful elegance.

Expect plush armchairs, cozy loveseats, and a refined atmosphere that makes you feel miles away from the bustling streets outside.

The venue seats an intimate 80 guests and features a beverage program, including a curated list of over 300 wines.

You can also enjoy a reduced version of Fasano’s famous Northern Italian menu alongside appetizers while you listen to live music curated by author and biographer James Gavin.

The immersive September lineup

While the club officially kicked off its fall season earlier this month, the remaining September lineup is packed with incredible talent you won’t want to miss.

For a $40 cover charge, you can catch these upcoming weekend performances:
