Rama Bear Mart: Thai Supermarket In Singapore That Will Transport You To BKK

You don’t need a plane ticket to enjoy your favourite Thai snacks and desserts—just take a trip to Rama Bear Mart and your cravings will be satisfied. Conveniently located right beside Jalan Besar MRT Station, this Thai supermarket has been making waves on social media for its wide array of ready-to-eat meals, desserts, and drinks sourced directly from the Land of Smiles.

The store was founded by a Thai national who, after relocating to Singapore, found herself missing the products from home. After realising that there were plenty more like her, she decided to launch the business. On our visit, we discovered that the assortment of snacks stocked here is more than what’s available at most Thai supermarkets in Singapore.

You’ll find an impressive lineup of your favourite Lay’s chips in Thai-exclusive flavours such as 3-in-1 Salmon Chilli Lime ($3). There’s also the popular Baan NaRa Thai Crispy Pancakes ($15), which come in a clever DIY kit for fun customisation. These crispy pancakes are packed together with a creamy, meringue-like spread and a shredded egg yolk topping, which add texture and sweetness.

If you love Thailand’s 7-Eleven sandwiches, you’ll be pleased with Rama Bear Mart’s selection. Tuck into ready-to-eat sandwiches that are only found in Thailand—until now.

The Carbonara Danish Sandwich ($4.50) and Chicken Ham Cheese Foccacia Sandwich ($4.50) are popular picks. Loyal After You Dessert Cafe fans can also indulge in the brand’s all-time favourite treats.

Grab a box of Frozen Shibuya Honey Toast ($13.50) to enjoy the same cafe experience in the comfort of your home! Before you leave, pop by their in-store cafe for some light bites and Thai bubble tea. Highlights include Moo Ping ($2) AKA Thai-style grilled pork skewers, Thai Fish Cake ($6.90), and French Fries ($4.50) served with a variety of toppings.

If you prefer online shopping, visit their website, which offers doorstep delivery for a flat rate of $8. Or you can order online, and pick up your items at the store for free.

After shopping your fill of Thai snacks, take a 10-minute stroll to Two Bake Boys Cafe for delicious Thai-inspired brunch fare in Bugis. Otherwise, chow down on some springy duck egg noodles at Chef Kin HK Wanton Noodle in Lavender.
