Mister Donut To Open Cafe In Novena In July 2023

Word is in: Mister Donut will open at Velocity at Novena Square, their second outlet in Singapore on 6 July 2023! The famous Japanese doughnut chain first made waves for their Bishan launch a month ago, with snaking queues on opening day.

This time, their new outlet will feature a dine-in cafe with seats, serving coffee, tea, and their signature doughnuts. ICYMI: Mister Donut is most famous for their Pon De Ring, a Japanese-style doughnut made of tapioca flour for that iconic, QQ bite.

These mochi-like doughnuts first launched in 2003, and are available in many flavours, including a Singapore-exclusive Pon De Ring Chocolate ($2.50) that’s also available at the OG Bishan branch. There’s also a Strawberry ($2.50) flavour that looks absolutely delicious; this doughnut features a strawberry-flavoured milk chocolate coating.

Fans can also look forward to the popular French Cruller doughnuts, a deep-fried doughnut comprising a cake-like dough. Try the Angel French Cruller ($2.50), a sweet snack with chocolate dip on one end, and icing sugar on another. The light and airy doughnut also comes with fresh whipped cream in the middle for the ultimate pick-me-up.

Besides those interesting doughnut flavours, Mister Donut offers a more classic range of Yeast Donuts that are great for those who want something more traditional. The Honey Dip ($2.30), for instance, is a simple doughnut glazed with a light layer of honey for sweetness.
