Parkway Parade’s New Peranakan-Inspired Kopitiam Has Hyogo Oysters, Danlao And More

While Kopitiam outlets can be found all across Singapore, few are as meticulously decorated as the one at Parkway Parade. This new food court, designed in partnership with The Intan, the famous Peranakan home museum, features coastal tiles and murals adorned with Peranakan floral patterns.

It’s a beautiful space that even features a dedicated bar named Flint Specialty Grill & Bar, where you can enjoy a range of cocktails and other drinks alongside Western dishes. In total, this Kopitiam has 32 stalls, with a good diversity of cuisines to choose from.

From fresh Hyogo oysters to hearty donburi, these dishes are best paired with some Sapporo beer. Look out for the legit Thai dishes by Egg Thai.

Dishes such as Golden Pad Thai Egg Floss and Golden Tom Yum Soup Egg Floss are said to be oh-so-addictive and reminiscent of the best of Thailand’s street food offerings. Popular scrambled egg rice bowls brand Danlao can also be found here. If you aren’t familiar with them, be sure to try their amazing Chicken Cutlet Scrambled Egg Rice, packed with fluffy eggs and succulent fried chicken.

Other recognisable brands here include Blanco Court Beef Noodle, Guan Chee HK Roast, Lam’s Noodle & Chicken, Hjh Maimunah and more. If these stalls seem promising, be sure to drop by this new food court when you can!
