Plaza Singapura Food Guide: 15 Places For Korean Pizzas, Wagyu Steaks And More

Located strategically at the intersection of three MRT lines, Plaza Singapura is a default option for when my friends and I can’t decide where to meet and eat.

If you have the same problem as I do, here are 15 Plaza Singapura food places to save you the trouble of thinking about where to eat during your next hangout.

• 1. Yeah Gelato

Singapore has seen a wave of China F&B openings in 2025. One of the most anticipated openings is Yeah Gelato, famous for its creamy gelato with its signature tall peaks. As huge fans of pistachio gelato, we had to get their Pistachio ($9.80), known for its nutty flavour and velvety smooth mouthfeel.

We really enjoyed the hints of saltiness that helped to mellow down the sweetness. For something a little different, we recommend the Premium Rice ($9.80) for its smoky, roasted flavour profile with short-grained rice bits for texture.

• 2. Pawa Bakery

We ranked Pawa Bakery number one on our list of the best shio pan in Singapore, so we couldn’t be happier when they opened a grab-and-go kiosk at Plaza Singapura. Their Plain Shio Pan ($2.30) is a must-get; the bottom crust is crispy and baked to a beautiful golden brown, while the middle is light and fluffy.

Shio pan aside, there are plenty of bagel flavours to choose from. Some popular picks include Garlic Cream Cheese Bagel ($3.80), a winning combination of fragrant garlic butter and smooth cream cheese, Chilli Mushroom Bagel ($3.80), and Matcha Red Bean Mochi Bagel ($3.80).

• 3. Co Chung

Started by a retired nurse, Co Chung is the product of her aspirations to open an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. You can’t claim to be eating Vietnamese food without some Pho Beef Noodle Soup ($14.90++) that comes with a light yet not bland beef broth.

If you are not a fan of noodles, they also have Vietnamese Broken Rice ($14.90++), which features a special marinated grilled pork and house-made pork meatball with a sunny-side-up atop a bed of broken rice. Read our Co Chung review.

• 4. Bizen Wagyu & Salad Bar

As an atas version of Astons, Bizen Wagyu & Salad Bar serves up Wagyu steaks that won’t break the bank. With a wide range of 20 cuts, such as the more affordable Chuck ($37.90++) and prime cuts with the likes of Tenderloin ($57.90+), this steakhouse caters to all taste buds and every budget.

• 5. Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice

Branching out from Bangkok, the award-winning Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice has one of its five local outlets at Plaza Singapura. A plate of their Chicken Rice ($5.50++), served similar to the way they do in Bangkok, contains poached chicken breast and slices of cucumber.

There is also an option to top up to $6.50++ for chicken thigh. If you are on a higher budget, get the Steamed Sea Bass with Chilli, Lime and Garlic ($29.90++), served with a whole sea bass dressed in Thai-style sour and spicy flavours.

• 6. Five Guys

Five Guys opened its Singapore flagship store at Plaza Singapura in 2019, offering a range of their popular burgers. Chomp down on Bacon Cheeseburger ($22.50), which features pieces of applewood bacon inside their classic Cheeseburger ($18.50).

For those not looking for a burger, they also have a Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($10.90) that contains green pepper, American cheese, and mushrooms for an array of flavours. Finally, wash down your meal with a Five Guys Shake ($11.80).

• 7. Typhoon Cafe

Claiming to bring “the taste of Taiwan” to you, Typhoon Cafe offers some really good vinegary Taiwanese Oyster Mee Sua ($12.90++), where the accompanying proteins, such as pig intestine and oyster, come crispy fried. They also have plenty of dessert options, such as the crowd-favourite Signature Souffle Stackers ($16.80++) with mixed berries, vanilla crumble, and honeycomb ice cream.

• 8. Muji Cafe

Muji Cafe is known for their deli sets, which allows you to choose from a seasonal selection of hot or cold deli dishes, a choice of white rice, grain rice, or bread, and lastly, miso or carrot cumin soup. The sets start from $16.80+, and you get one hot and one cold deli dish, among other dishes. For something more filling, we recommend the 3 Deli Set ($20.80+) instead.

• 9. Eat Pizza

Korean-famous pizza chain Eat Pizza opened at Plaza Singapura in April 2024, following the success of their previous two outlets at Paya Lebar Quarter and 313 Somerset. If this is your first time visiting Eat Pizza, go for the classic Pepperoni ($6.50) or the Crispy Potato Turkey Bacon ($6.90).

• 10. Haidilao

For those looking to get pampered even while standing in line, pay a visit to the ever-popular Haidilao. Known for their customer service and birthday celebrations, a visit here definitely makes for an enjoyable experience.

Choose your choice of soup base from favourites such as Tomato Hot Pot or Sichuan Spicy Hot Pot, and go all out on their wide selection of sides, such as their Handmade Meatballs and Fish Roe Stuffed Beancurd. • 11. Cajun On Wheels

The halal-certified Cajun On Wheels is one of the best seafood bucket restaurants in Singapore. For a quick affordable seafood fix, try their Mussels Stew ($31+) which feeds up to two.

It contains mussels cooked in a spicy tomato stew base, alongside sweet corn, baby potatoes, and your choice of sauce. If you are going for a more Dancing Crab-esqe experience, they also have the Poseidon Bucket ($113+), which makes you feel like a king with their two 400g Sri Lankan crabs, 300g of prawns, 300g of blue mussels, 300g of white clams, sweet corn, baby potatoes and a sauce of your choice. CHAGEE is a popular Chinese tea brand that made their long-awaited return to our shores after their departure in early 2024. Expect fan favourites such as the Jasmine Green Milk Tea (from $4.90) and Peach Oolong Milk Tea (from $4.90), along with the more interesting Da Hong Pao Snow Cap Milk Tea ($6.90).

• 13. Tamoya Udon

Among the best udon restaurants in Singapore is the award-winning Tamoya Udon. It’s a must to try their Sanuki Beef Egg Udon ($12.70++), the chef cracks a Japanese onsen egg over cooked slices of beef for the extra silkiness.

For lovers of pork broth, the Black Garlic Tonkotsu Udon ($12.30++) comes with a black garlic sauce that is made in-house. Top up your dishes with a selection of Tempura (from $1.30++), which includes their standard sides such as Shiitake Mushroom or Prawn Tempura.

CoCo ICHIBANYA is known for their Japanese curry rice. Try their Pork Cutlet & Cheese Curry ($16.50++), which contains a breaded pork cutlet that’s crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, topped with melted cheese. They have other protein options such as the Fried Salmon Curry ($16++) and Shrimp Cutlet Curry ($14++).
