La Santa Mula: the Oaxacan cocktail that celebrates the spirit of mezcal

Santo Gusano, the artisanal mezcal created by Carlos Rivera, arrives from Oaxaca to conquer Spain. This young espadín mezcal, with citrus notes and a subtle smoky touch, pays homage to the white agave worm, a symbol of transformation and life.

STEP-BY-STEP PREPARATION:

1. Place ice in the Santa Mula mug. 2. Add 1 seeded serrano pepper slice. 3. Add the lime juice and Santo Gusano Espadín Joven Mezcal. 4. Add ginger ale to fill and stir lightly with a spoon. 5. Garnish (optional): sprig of mint, lime wedge, and seeded serrano pepper slice.
