Reconstituting cocktail

Gin MG is betting on a cocktail classic with its star offering to kick off the new year: the Corpse Reviver No. 2. Originally created as a "restorative cocktail" that promises to revive even the most listless, thanks to its balance of fresh and potent flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2.5cl of Gin MG
  • 2.5cl of lemon juice
  • 2.5cl of Cointreau
  • 2.5cl of Lillet White
  • 1 dash of absence
  • 1 twist of lemon1

Elaboration

  • We chill the cocktail glass by adding ice cubes and stirring them. We set it aside with the ice inside.
  • In a cocktail shaker, using a jigger, add 2.5cl of MG Gin, 2.5cl of lemon juice, 2.5cl of Cointreau, 2.5cl of Lillet Blanc, and ice cubes. Cover and shake.
  • We remove the ice and excess water from the chilled cocktail glass using a strainer. We garnish the glass with absinthe and pour in the mixture from the shaker, without the ice.
  • We decorate the cocktail glass with a lemon twist.
