The 22 Donut and Brioche Havens

Croissants are the best way to start the day: buttery, flaky, slightly sweet, and filled with cream or jam. They're a real treat—or rather, they should be, because most of the ones you find around are low-quality, industrial products.

Croissants, brioches, and all the Viennese pastries are Iper's flagship products, a true delight you wouldn't expect in a hypermarket. But Iper is different; it's the Italian group that since 1974 has had the mission of making quality accessible to all: and quality also means having a pastry shop and bakery in every store. Before your eyes, every day, pastries, bread, and chocolate are handcrafted by Iper's bakers and pastry chefs—not just employees, but qualified professionals.

Croissants are one of the most expensive, time-consuming, and laborious processes in pastry making, which is why they're so hard to find properly made, with the flavor and texture we desire. But at Iper, there's no compromise: croissants and brioches are made every day, first thing in the morning, rolled and shaped on-site, hand-rolled, baked, and filled. At Iper La Grande, you'll find countless variations with traditional ingredients and different seasonal variations: croissants with French butter, with white, milk, or dark chocolate, with jam, pistachio cream, or a two-toned version. And then there are puff pastries, apple or chocolate parcels... all starting at just 90 cents each!

The best at an affordable price: this is Iper's philosophy, which is also reflected in its fruit tarts, cakes, chocolate pralines, and all its pastries. Great attention is paid to the processing and selection of ingredients, as in the case of the jams, made only with fresh fruit and sugar, or the shortcrust pastry made with Italian butter and free-range eggs. To satisfy even the most discerning palates, a line of butter-, milk-, and egg-free desserts has also been created. To please all customers and nourish them with delicious food.
