Meet up at Via della Spiga

The Zwilling Group opens its first Italian brand store in Milan. From cookware to small appliances to knives, the best in high-end kitchenware is found here.

Today, even kitchen utensils have become luxury items. This is why Zwilling has opened its first Italian brand store in Milan, at number 52, Via della Spiga, in the heart of the fashion district. All cooking enthusiasts seeking professional tools that combine high quality with aesthetics have a new point of reference where they can purchase top-of-the-line products from every line of the group, from Italian-made Ballarini pots and pans to Alsatian enameled cast iron pots from Staub and steel pots from Belgian Demeyere; from the captivating Japanese knives from Miyabi to those from Zwilling, as well as cooking, storage, and small appliances that combine high technology and minimalist design.

"We are very proud of our boutique located on Via della Spiga, because I believe that no other street so strongly represents the identity of Milan, a city we chose for good reason as the first location to open our brand store," said Luca Miglioranzi, CEO of Zwilling Italia.

But the store is much more than just a place to buy items: it hosts cooking demonstrations and meetings with industry professionals who share their culinary experiences with a unique perspective and offer tips and tricks for experimenting with new preparations and developing customers' passion and skills. And during the Salone del Mobile, visitors will be offered a free smoothie made with one of Zwilling's special blenders.

An exceptional brand ambassador

Among the prominent figures supporting Zwilling's new venture is Michelin-starred chef Andrea Berton, a brand ambassador who has created videos featuring unique yet easy-to-reproduce recipes, along with tips and explanations on the group's latest innovations. The videos are published monthly on Berton's Instagram profiles (@ristoranteberton) and those of the various Zwilling brands (@zwilling_it @ballarini_it @staub_it). You'll also likely spot Andrea Berton at the store on Via della Spiga, hosting cooking shows and other events.

Cooking School with Ballarini

Another innovative project, designed to inform and educate cooking enthusiasts, is the one developed by Ballarini with the Gualtiero Marchesi Academy. A Scuola di Pentola (Pan School) aims to guide consumers and professionals in choosing the right cooking tool. Each pot has specific characteristics—shapes, bases, and handles—that make it suitable, if not essential, for preparing certain dishes, as does the use of quality ingredients. Thus, we will learn how to choose the right pan for stews, the right casserole dish for risotto, or the right roasting pan for roasts. And that's not all. Ballarini's teachings, delivered through freshly written stories shared on social media, will also emphasize the close connection between cooking and health, with in-depth discussions on non-stick coatings, revealing their advantages and tips for optimal use. So that home cooking can become increasingly healthier without sacrificing flavor.
