Vetrina Toscana is a Tuscany Region project that has been promoting the agri-food and tourism sectors for 26 years, showcasing a region where agriculture and sustainability have a millennia-old history. It is a public project, the only one of its size, open to businesses for free. Its value has earned it two important awards: "Best Practice" in the Promotion of the Agri-food Industry from the European Commission and the "Best Marketing Project in Italy" award from GIST, the Italian Tourism Press Group.

All-round sustainability

From wine to olive oil, cured meats to cheeses, bread to desserts, vegetables to fruit, nearly 600 excellent local products showcase a region as delicious as it is beautiful. Food in Tuscany is, in fact, an expression of its landscapes, history, lifestyle, and culture, and each region has a distinct identity tied to its food and wine. Vetrina Toscana protects its products as a cultural and material heritage, ensuring it is not lost. It focuses on local products, organic farming, seasonal ingredients, respect for the region's identity, circular cuisine, and plastic-free practices. Equally important is the region's rich biodiversity, preserved thanks to a profound respect for the environment. Sustainability here has ancient roots, and Vetrina Toscana supports it in its various meanings: environmental, in the respect, care, and protection of the land; social, in helping to safeguard the customs of the communities visited; economic, in generating employment and income for local residents; and cultural, in allowing visitors to understand how a product is made and the history behind it.
