Grilled cabbage with dressing, honey and seeds

Grilled cabbage with dressing, honey and seeds

A dish that is guaranteed to surprise you! Have you ever grilled... cabbage? If not, you need to fix that, because, believe us, you haven't eaten something so unexpectedly good in a long time. Maybe never.

Ingredients · Servings For 6–8 people
  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
Method · 22 min
  1. Cut the cabbage into sixths or eighths, always leaving a piece of the stalk on each piece to keep the cabbage together. Season well with salt and rub in oil – be careful not to break the cabbage. Place on a hot grill and grill for about 7 minutes on one side, then carefully turn and grill for about 5 minutes on the other side.
  2. While the cabbage is grilling, prepare the dressing. Stir the salt into the vinegar until dissolved. Add the pepper and mustard, stir, then whisk in the olive oil and maple syrup to taste. Stir in the chopped chives.
  3. Drizzle the grilled cabbage with a little maple syrup, pour over the dressing and sprinkle with the seed mixture.
