Puertollano prepares for five days of madness: The Burger Cup lands with ten burger restaurants
Puertollano has a date with burgers. The Burger Cup lands in the city from September 23 to 27, transforming Plaza Santa Bárbara into the epicenter of five days of gastronomy, competition, and leisure.
Ten participants, hundreds of burgers coming off the grills, and one mission: to win over the Puertollano crowd. The city joins the national tour of The Burger Cup 2026 with a stop that will bring together some of the burgers currently touring Spain this season.
The event will be open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM, while on Saturday and Sunday it will be open from 12:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with two full days during the weekend.
Ten participants, one winner
The Puertollano edition will feature Madú, Arde, Lame, Gosso, Burger Mafia, Vulcano, Burger Lab, Capitano, Malabar Burger, and SixSeven. Ten different approaches to burgers will compete for five days to become the attendees' favorite, with offerings encompassing diverse techniques, combinations, and styles.
In addition to the participating burgers, the venue will have potatoes and different options to accompany the offerings, completing the gastronomic offer of the event.
In Puertollano, the public decides.
One of the defining characteristics of The Burger Cup is that it's not a jury that decides the winner: it's the people who eat them who decide. Attendees will be able to sample the different burgers and vote for their favorite using the system provided by the organizers. At the end of the event, the final ranking will be announced, and the burger chosen by the public as the winner of The Burger Cup Puertollano 2026 will be revealed.
The format thus allows each visitor to be part of the competition and for the residents and attendees themselves to determine which proposal manages to conquer the city.

The Burger Cup presents each of its stops as an experience that transcends the culinary competition. For five days, the grills will share the spotlight with music, atmosphere, and various leisure activities, transforming Plaza Santa Bárbara into a meeting point to enjoy with friends and family.
Puertollano thus joins the national tour of The Burger Cup 2026, a traveling format that is visiting different parts of Spain, bringing together at each stop some of the most outstanding proposals in the burger scene.
