Chicharronada in Mairena del Alcor: schedule, lineup and performances
On Saturday, September 19, the Sevillian town will be filled with this classic of Andalusian gastronomy, which consists of fried pork rinds that should not be confused with the chicharrón from Cádiz.
Specifically, the event will take place at the Municipal Booth from 12:00 until 2:00 in the morning.
However, the pork rinds will not be the only attraction of the event, which is being organized by the Brotherhood of the Little Donkey of Mairena del Alcor, together with CarniceríaMairena.
La Chicharronada features a bar with drinks and other tapas at reasonable prices, live music by the Ángel Martín Flamenco Company and DJ Carlos Rodríguez at night.
There will also be dance performances by the María & Alba Serrano Dance School and the Rosario Jiménez Dance Academy.
How to get there and tips for enjoying the day
Access to the Mairena del Alcor Municipal Booth is free until capacity is reached, and it takes only about 25 minutes by car from Seville. To get there, take the A-92 and exit at A-398.
