Cascais is preparing to open its doors to more than 40 national and international chefs, who will bring otherworldly flavors. Find out everything you can eat at the gastronomic festival.
The Parque Marechal Carmona in Cascais will once again host the largest gastronomy festival cooked over fire in Europe, bringing together more than 40 national and international chefs who, together, have earned 24 Suns from the Repsol Guide and 13 Michelin Stars. On September 19th and 20th, the bonfires of the eighth edition of Chefs on Fire will once again showcase exclusive creations, cooked only with fire, smoke, and wood.
The festival also focuses on music, with shows by Carolina Deslandes & Friends. The singer will take the stage on September 20th to present a show created especially for the festival. The musical lineup also includes names like Silk Nobre, AGIR and Paulo de Carvalho e Bateu Matou on the 19th, and DJ Xinobi on September 20th.
On the first day, Saturday, September 19th, you will be able to sample the creations of chefs Ana Leão, Elísio Bernardes, Filipe Ramalho, Gil Fernandes, João Rodrigues, João Saloio, José Lopes, Lara Figueiredo, Lizandra Almeida, Miguel Laffan, Pedro Pena Bastos, Rui Lima Santos, Tiago Bonito, Vasco Coelho Santos, Inês Azevedo, Verónica Dias, and Zé Paulo Rocha.
On Sunday, September 20th, it's the turn of chefs Afonso Dantas, Angélica Salvador, Diogo Formiga, Fagner Buzinhani, Filipe Manhita, João Magalhães, Louise Bourrat, Matias Natuche, Michele Marques, Miguel Peres, Nathalie Inês, Nelson Soares, Paulo Alves, Pedro Lemos, Petter Nystrom, Ricardo Costa and Tiago Penão to shine.
The festival also features three special participants, the result of collaborations between chefs and partner brands, including Juliana Penteado with Skoda, Noélia Jerónimo with Milaneza, and Marlene Vieira with Primor. In addition to the chefs, the festival will once again include Bites, food stalls from guest restaurants. This edition brings together Street Smash, Lupita, Arandu, Pop Bar, Little Moons Mochi, Gunpowder, Queijaria do Beco, Basca, Papa Açorda, Aquanostra, Sellva, Entreposto, and Lisboeta.
The venue opens at noon and closes at midnight. Chefs on Fire Cascais takes place on September 19th and 20th at Parque Marechal Carmona in Cascais. Tickets are already on sale on the festival's website.
