September 2026 Michelin additions: All the new restaurants added to the guide
Chefs Spencer Metzger and Nathan Outlaw had restaurants join the guide’s listings.
The Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland has added 22 new restaurants to its online listings.
New additions included Chez Rose in London’s Mayfair, which was launched in June by chef Spencer Metzger in partnership with Jason Atherton. The French bistro was praised for its “unfussy dishes” showcasing fantastic produce.
Jeremy King’s highly anticipated comeback, Simpson’s in the Strand, was also added to the list six months after opening, as was Sushi Amamoto London in the former site of Taku Mayfair, which is still headed by chef Jongho Park.
In Scotland, Cradle in Sir Andy Murray’s Cromlix hotel was described as a “culinary crown jewel”, while AO by Daniel Rogan in Southampton impressed Michelin with its “finely balanced” dishes.
The guide updates its recommendations each month based on its inspectors’ travels, with any additions highlighted by a ‘New’ symbol.
It will not be confirmed if any of the restaurants will receive a further star, Bib Gourmand or other award until the launch of the 2027 guide.
