Gold for Gouden Carolus Whisky Infused Blond, and now also in a 75cl bottle

During the international competitions, the London Beer Competition and the Frankfurt International Tasting Competition, several Gouden Carolus beers won awards.

This innovative creation, in which Gouden Carolus Imperial Blond is enriched with an infusion of Gouden Carolus Single Malt whisky, managed to convince the jury with its complexity and refinement. “This is fantastic news and a great start for this young beer. Gouden Carolus Whisky Infused Dark has been achieving strong results in competitions for years, so we hoped that Gouden Carolus Whisky Infused Blond would follow the same path. The fact that we immediately won gold on our first participation makes it extra special,” testifies head brewer Bart Meulepas.

Following this success, Brouwerij Het Anker announces that Gouden Carolus Whisky Infused Blond is now also available in a 75cl bottle. With this, they are responding to the growing demand for special tasting beers in a larger format, ideal for sharing and enjoying on special occasions. Brouwerij Huyghe also won multiple awards and was furthermore awarded the title 'Best Brewery Belgium 2026'. This recognition lends extra weight to the recent merger with Brouwerij Het Anker and underscores their joint success. Both breweries look forward to achieving further international accolades together.
