Chilean beer crowned the best in the world at the “World Beer Awards”
The 'World Beer Awards' held in London, England, is an international competition that awards the best beers in the world every year.
In different categories and styles, the competition recognizes the quality and excellence of the participating brands.
This isn't the first time Chile has appeared on the list, having received awards in previous years. However, in 2025, a prominent Chilean brand took home four awards: one gold and three silver.
Renowned national beer wins international competition
The star of the show was Kross, the country's most awarded brewery, which adds another achievement to its history and reinforces its reputation in the brewing world.
The international jury of the World Beer Awards awarded Kross the following accolades, consolidating its place among the best beers worldwide:

“Each of these medals is a recognition of the skill, care, and passion we put into every recipe and creation we make. The fact that our Stout, the first beer we created, is among the best in the world, and that Berries has won its first medal, are milestones that fill us with pride. Representing Chile on this stage is a tremendous honor,” he stated, as reported by Radio Pudahuel.
By 2023, Chile had won a total of 29 medals at the World Beer Awards: 8 gold, 11 silver, and 10 bronze in various categories. With these new accolades, Kross Brewery reaffirms its position as the most awarded brewery in the country, reaching a total of 161 medals in international competitions.
