Glasgow Cocktail Week is set to return this autumn, with almost 70 bars, restaurants and hotels already signed up to take part in what has become one of the city’s biggest annual hospitality events.

Running from 24 September to 4 October, the festival returns under its original name after last year’s Cocktail Fortnight and launches with a new visual identity created by East End signwriter Amy Mojo.

Organisers officially unveiled the new branding during a launch event on the River Clyde, where the festival team was joined by Glasgow creatives Bemz, Mark Thorburn and Sonya Walos of Scotland Edit aboard a Seaforce powerboat.

The festival continues to grow, with participating venues offering exclusive cocktail menus throughout the 11-day event. Festival wristbands will once again give customers access to signature serves and discounted premium cocktails, helping drive footfall across Glasgow’s hospitality sector.

One of the biggest additions this year is the introduction of city-wide cocktail trails, encouraging visitors to discover new venues and explore different parts of the city. More details will be announced ahead of the festival.

The popular Glasgow Cocktail Week maps will also return, with a programme of masterclasses at VEGA across both festival Saturdays. Festival partners this year include Loch Lomond Malts, Brugal 1888 Rum, Patrón Tequila, St-Germain, Hendrick’s Gin, Monkey Shoulder, Belvedere Vodka, Singleton and Johnnie Walker.

Nicola Gemmell-Moir, organiser of Glasgow Cocktail Week, said, “It’s hard to believe we’re now in our ninth year. Glasgow Cocktail Week has always been about celebrating the incredible people who make this city’s bar scene one of the best in the world, and every year we look for new ways to spotlight them.

“After the success of Cocktail Fortnight last year, we’re really excited to return as Glasgow Cocktail Week with a fresh new look that reflects where the festival is today. As a proudly female-founded business, it felt important to work with another brilliant local female creative, and Amy Mac has created a visual identity that perfectly captures the energy, colour and personality of both the festival and the city.

“With almost 70 venues already confirmed, brand-new cocktail trails, returning masterclasses and hundreds of exclusive cocktails to discover, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back this September.”
