How to get totally free MUG Root Beer product

Cheers, root beer fans! During the 2025 March Madness tournament, MUG Root Beer and its canine mascot, Dog, encouraged college basketball fans to “root for all the dogs.”

As part of the campaign, the brand promised that, if a team with a fellow dog mascot was victorious as the champions, they would give away FREE root beer to all.

And, fortunately, the UConn Huskies won the 2025 Women’s NCAA National Championship Game. That means the complimentary MUG Root Beer will be flowing for all to enjoy. It’s the perfect excuse to enjoy a root beer float!

From April 7 to 18, 2025, MUG Root Beer is giving away a FREE product — up to $4.

The sweet giveaway is valid for all varieties of bottle/can packages of MUG Root Beer products.

The rebate will be paid in the form of payment via PayPal or Venmo.

Here’s how to get your FREE MUG Root Beer:

Purchase a MUG Root Beer or MUG Root Beer Zero Sugar product from April 7 to 18, 2025 from an online retailer or in-store at a retailer.

Be sure to get a receipt! The MUG Root Beer product must be visible on the receipt.

To start the rebate process, text MUG25 to 737-377-3774. You will first need to agree to the terms of the offer. Then, choose how you want to be paid — PayPal or Venmo. Finally, you must text a clear picture of your receipt.
