Stradella is gearing up for Vinuva, three days of wine, music, and tradition from September 18th to 20th

STRADELLA: The town of Stradella is preparing to host a new edition of "Vinuva – Tra Storia e Sapori," the event dedicated to the wine, land, and traditions of the Oltrepò Pavese region, scheduled for September 18-20, 2026, in Piazza Trieste.

The event will kick off on Friday, September 18th with a concert by Sismica on their Hot Summer Hits Tour. On Saturday, September 19th, Magika90 will take center stage, while on Sunday, September 20th, the Gianmarco Bagutti Orchestra will close the program. Throughout the event, catering will be provided by PromOltrepò – Pro Loco Stradella, who will be serving traditional local specialties throughout the evenings.

Wine will naturally take center stage at the event, with guided tastings featuring the main Oltrepò Pavese labels. From Bonarda to Pinot Noir, from Buttafuoco to the Metodo Classico Oltrepò Pavese DOCG, visitors will be able to learn more about the region's production through the presence of sommeliers and producers. There will also be tasting masterclasses, designed to explore the characteristics and unique features of Oltrepò Pavese wines.

Alongside the food and wine program, there will also be some of the traditions most closely linked to rural culture, starting with the traditional grape pressing, along with traditional games for children. This will transform the event into an event capable of uniting different generations and telling the story of the region not only through its wines, but also through the memories and traditions that have shaped its history.

Stradella, long recognized as one of the Oltrepò Pavese wine cities, is renewing its vocation for food and wine with an event that has earned a prominent place in the local events calendar over the years. "Vinuva – Between History and Flavors" thus also becomes an opportunity to discover and promote a region where culture, agricultural production, landscape, and conviviality have always coexisted.

The 2026 edition also represents the final stage of the "History and Flavors between Hills and Plains" program, promoted by the Municipality of Stradella as lead partner together with the Municipalities of Belgioioso, Santa Cristina e Bissone, Chignolo Po, and Arena Po, as part of the Lombardia Style Call for Proposals – Joint Promotion Projects for Territorial Attractiveness – 2026 Edition.

A journey that began last May with the Santa Croce Fair in Santa Cristina and Bissone, and has spanned several local towns, offering events dedicated to history, traditions, and local excellence. The calendar has stopped in Belgioioso with "A Village in the Middle Ages," in Arena Po with "The Middle Ages on the River," and in Chignolo Po with "Traditions and Crafts" and the "Torchlight Procession on the Great River." Now the journey reaches its final stop in Stradella, where Vinuva will close the program with three days dedicated to wine, music, and the rediscovery of the traditions of the Oltrepò Pavese.
