A delicious, moist, and easy-to-make pear brownie. This cake is unique and perfect for any occasion, from everyday meals to special events. The recipe is for a small pan, approximately 24 cm long. If you want to bake it in a longer pan, double the quantities.

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • half a glass of milk
  • half a cup of oil
  • Half a cup of sugar
  • One cup of cake flour
  • 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa
  • One level teaspoon of baking soda
  • One teaspoon of baking powder
  • A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 large, slightly firm pears
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1/4 of a stick of butter

Peel and dice the pears. Melt the butter and honey in a pan, add the pears and cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

Grease the mold with oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Remove the pears with a slotted spoon and place them at the bottom of the mold. Note: Do not discard the syrup.

Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy. Add the milk and oil and mix. Then, add the dry ingredients and mix until combined.

Pour the batter into the pan. Bake at 170 degrees Celsius for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove the cake from the oven while it's still warm. Let it cool completely. Then, unmold it.

Gently heat the syrup in a saucepan. Pour it over the pears. Let it set.
