El menú degustación experimental de Fauna encuentra un hogar temporal en Ellie's
Tras el cierre del Flora Street Cafe, el chef Peter Barlow traslada su restaurante de menú degustación experimental, Fauna, al salón privado de Ellie's, en el Arts District.
Chef Peter Barlow's creative and elaborate dishes are now served at Ellie's, the elegant restaurant in Dallas's new Arts District, just steps from the former Fauna location.
Chef Eric Dreyer invited Barlow to take over Ellie's private dining room to handle Fauna reservations for the next few weeks. Shortly after Stephan Pyles announced his departure from Flora Street, Barlow explained, "Stephan kept it all very well hidden. Nobody knew."
After returning from Copenhagen, where he'll be working for a couple of months in the kitchen at Alchemist, Barlow is looking for investors to open Fauna in a permanent location. His stay in Europe will last between three and six months, although, as he himself points out, "it's still not clear."
If he finds an investor, he could shorten his stay in Europe and return to Dallas sooner than planned.
Pyles has assured that the Flora Street Cafe and Fauna reservations were notified immediately and that their expenses were reimbursed.
