Benefits of a Mexican snack

  • Proteins: Traditional pork rinds provide proteins, which are essential for the maintenance and repair of body tissues, as well as for the proper functioning of the immune system.
  • Vitamins and minerals: Depending on the vegetables, such as lettuce, tomato, and onion, you can obtain varying amounts of vitamins A and C, potassium, and fiber. These are important for bodily functions, including vision, skin health, heart function, blood pressure, and digestion.
  • Healthy fats: Adding avocado to prepared pork rinds provides a source of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats that are beneficial for the heart. Avocado also provides fiber and vitamin E.
