Ingredients · Servings 8
  • a pinch of sugar
  • small onion – 1 pc.
  • salt – to taste
  • potatoes – 900 g
  • vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.
  • olive oil – 2 tbsp.
  • garlic – 3 cloves
  • paprika – 1 tsp
  • tomatoes in their own juice – 250 g
Method · 1 h
  1. Peel the potatoes, cut into slices, place in a baking dish, and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 200°C.
  2. Prepare the sauce. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Mash the tomatoes. Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan and fry the onion for 5 minutes.
  3. Add garlic, tomatoes with sauce, paprika, sugar, and salt to taste. Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Serve the potatoes with the hot sauce.
