- a pinch of sugar
- small onion – 1 pc.
- salt – to taste
- potatoes – 900 g
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.
- olive oil – 2 tbsp.
- garlic – 3 cloves
- paprika – 1 tsp
- tomatoes in their own juice – 250 g

- Peel the potatoes, cut into slices, place in a baking dish, and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 200°C.
- Prepare the sauce. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Mash the tomatoes. Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan and fry the onion for 5 minutes.
- Add garlic, tomatoes with sauce, paprika, sugar, and salt to taste. Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Serve the potatoes with the hot sauce.
