Ready for the next challenges
The need for an ecological transition and sustainable production has not caught Scavolini off guard, having been committed to this since the early 2000s, when the company understood the importance of implementing a system based on the UNI EN ISO 14001 standard. In 2011, the Sunload project was implemented, thanks to which most of the production plant was covered with photovoltaic panels. Furthermore, Scavolini uses Idroleb eco-friendly panels for the structure of all its collections and has also obtained CQP certification, which attests to the circularity of its products, along with the coveted FSC®-C168055 certification. Short for Forest Stewardship Council, the international FSC certification is based on the assignment of the Chain of Custody (CoC), which certifies the traceability of cellulose-based materials, guaranteeing their origin from forests managed with full respect for the environment, society, and economic sustainability.
A life to tell
To mark its 60th anniversary, Scavolini has dedicated a biographical novel to its president, titled Valter Scavolini. Life as a Great Enterprise. The book tells an all-Italian story, in which the country's events intertwine with the company's growth, through personal anecdotes, successes, and decisions that have allowed Scavolini to become what it is today. We also wanted to retrace those decades, selecting a particularly significant Scavolini kitchen model for each decade and a recipe from our archives that best represents the period.
