En Milán, en pleno corazón del barrio de Brera, Barilla ha inaugurado el Basil Bar, el primer bistró experiencial dedicado por completo al mundo del pesto. Del 5 al 15 de junio, en la Casa degli Artisti, el proyecto ofrece un viaje inmersivo a través del gusto.
In Milan, in the heart of the Brera district, Barilla has opened the Basil Bar, the first experiential bistro entirely dedicated to the world of pesto. Hosted from June 5th to 15th inside the Casa degli Artisti, the project offers an immersive journey through taste. The culinary offering is a collaboration between Academia Barilla, Degustazione Ristoro Dispensa, and chef Lorenzo Cogo, one of the brightest names in the new generation of Italian gastronomy. His dishes, created exclusively for the Basil Bar, offer a true sensory journey and showcase the creaminess of Barilla Pesto. These are the recipes available at the bistro.
Pesto & Contrasti: Barilla Emilian egg pasta risotto with Barilla Genovese Pesto, kiwi and caper powder
A creative take on risotto, made with Barilla grattoni cooked in ginger broth, tossed with butter, Parmesan cheese, and Genovese pesto. The dish is finished with a crispy kiwi paper and a sprinkling of caper powder.
The Way of Delight: Limoncello Delight with Basil Pesto and "Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP"
A lemon sponge cake hemisphere is dipped in a limoncello syrup, filled with a lemon pesto cream, and then glazed. A dusting of pesto powder completes the dish.

The Basil Bar will be, above all, an invitation to take a break, to rediscover the pleasure of sharing, and to experience a moment of indulgence while being inspired by taste. It is open every day except Monday, from 12:00 to 23:00, and from Friday to Sunday from 10:30.
