Pune’s First Vietnamese Street Beer Comes With Phở, Salty Coffee And More At THIS Cafe
Pune To Get Vietnam’s Street Beer Culture For The First Time.
Izipizi Street, known for bringing the atmosphere of Southeast Asian hawker streets to Pune, is building the experience around Bia Ho’i, a Vietnamese drinking ritual that is closely associated with casual gatherings, street food and socialising. Instead of simply adding Vietnamese beer to its menu, the venue plans a recurring experience around fresh beer, food, music and community. Bia Ho’i is traditionally served fresh at casual street-side spots where people gather over drinks and food. Izipizi Street will recreate the experience by pouring Izi Bia Ho’i over ice in the Vietnamese style.
Guests attending the launch will receive their first three rounds of Izi Bia Ho’i on the house. The beer will be paired with a specially curated food menu designed to complement the Vietnamese-inspired drinking experience. The food line-up will include the venue’s Phở food drop, along with Tamagoro Cafe’s new Vietnamese Salty Coffee. The combination will bring together savoury street food, a distinctly Vietnamese coffee preparation and the chilled lager as part of the evening.
From Beer To A Hanoi Night Market
The launch will continue beyond the food and drinks, with a Hanoi Night Market planned as part of the evening. The market-style experience will bring together food, music and the lively atmosphere of Southeast Asian street gatherings. The idea is to make the event feel less like a themed night and more like another social ritual within Izipizi Street’s existing world. The venue aims to recreate the feeling of discovering food and drinks on a busy Asian street, where people gather casually and conversations often begin between strangers.
