Exciting New Restaurant Option Coming to Kasson
There’s been a lot of change around Kasson in recent years, and one building in particular has seen its share of restaurants come and go.
If you’re heading into Kasson off Highway 14, you know the building I’m talking about. It’s the spot most people still refer to as the old Daniel’s restaurant building at 504 Mantorville Ave. S.
Well, it looks like that’s about to change.
La Mesa Pizzeria and Kitchen Is Coming to Kasson
The owners of Hidden Pines Bar and Grill at Zumbro Valley Golf Course in Mantorville are getting ready to open a brand new restaurant in the space called La Mesa Pizzeria and Kitchen, and I’m pretty excited about this one.
Kasson has been growing like crazy, and with that growth comes a pretty obvious demand for more places to eat. There are already some really good restaurants in town, but I’ve always thought Kasson was missing a solid pizza and pasta option.
It will be interesting to see what the folks behind the highly rated Hidden Pines come up with. They already know a thing or two about running a popular local restaurant, so I’m looking forward to seeing what La Mesa Pizzeria and Kitchen brings to the table, literally.
And after watching a few different restaurants cycle through that building over the past several years, it’ll be nice to see the lights back on and, hopefully, people filling the parking lot again.
There’s still a lot we don’t know. No menu yet. No opening date. And plenty of renovations to go. When it does open, I have a feeling this could be a pretty welcome addition to town.
