INCAPTO launches Aura Duo, a super-automatic coffee machine with a double hopper that allows you to alternate between two types of specialty coffee beans
INCAPTO has expanded its range of coffee machines with Aura Duo, a new super-automatic model with a double hopper that allows for two different types of coffee beans to be used in the same machine.
The new release joins the classic Aura coffee maker family, one of INCAPTO's most iconic models, which champions specialty coffee, whole bean and freshly ground, as an alternative to capsule systems. In addition to the new double hopper, it includes a measuring spoon designed by the brand and made from waste generated during the coffee roasting process.
This accessory simplifies the use of the second hopper, allowing you to add only the necessary amount of coffee each time, without having to completely refill the hopper. Furthermore, switching between coffee varieties has been designed for speed and efficiency. Thanks to the grinder's rapid purge, you can remove any remaining coffee from the machine's circuit in just 3 seconds, before moving from one hopper to the other and preparing the next coffee variety.
“At home, people don’t always crave the same type of coffee. Consumers are looking for a more versatile experience, but changing beans often means emptying the hopper, storing the coffee, modifying parts, or simply ending up opting for the same variety as always for the sake of convenience. With Aura Duo, we want to eliminate this inconvenience and make it easier for everyone at home to choose their preferred coffee at any given time,” explained Francesc Font, co-founder and co-CEO of INCAPTO.
With this new addition to its portfolio, the Barcelona-based coffee company continues its mission to bring specialty coffee beans and freshly ground coffee to everyday consumption, using easy-to-use machines (super-automatic and semi-automatic) and a subscription system that allows customers to receive freshly roasted coffee at home periodically, adapting the varieties and shipments to each person's consumption rate.
Unlike capsule coffee, INCAPTO prioritizes the coffee itself over the packaging. Their specialty coffees offer superior quality for an estimated cost of 15 to 17 cents per cup, compared to the typical 40-50 cents for a capsule, while also eliminating unnecessary waste. The brand, which boasts over 12 coffee varieties, allows anyone to prepare specialty coffee without technical knowledge or barista experience, thanks to its fully automatic machines.
INCAPTO is committed to a fairer and more sustainable coffee consumption model, from cultivation to the cup, based on a shorter and more traceable supply chain that recognizes the work of producers.
To this end, it regularly participates in regional competitions and auctions in producing countries such as Colombia and Nicaragua, where small coffee farmers can directly market high-quality lots, obtaining better prices, greater recognition, and longer-lasting business relationships. This approach is complemented by a commitment to farming models that respect biodiversity, capable of preserving the environment of the producing areas while generating income for local communities.
